 We held a very enjoyable American tournament on Bank Holiday
Monday 5th May. 28 players took part including several of the very keen and
promising under 14 boys who had taken part in the Road to Wimbledon the morning.

The final was held between the four group winners and resulted
in a closely fought 6-4 victory for Max Afriye and Callum Rodgers against the
father and son pairing of Gary and Sasha Philbert (see photo of finalists above).
Former club coach Ben Grozier was a welcome visitor
and presented awards to the finalists.
