On Sunday 14th September, the Ladies Third Team had a great win against Merrow 4-0. The scores were as follows:
Jemima & Ji Yi won against Merrow first pair 6-1, 6-1
Bridget & Sally won against Merrow first pair 6-1, 6-4
Jemima & Ji Yi won against Merrow second pair 6-3, 6-1
Bridget & Sally won against Merrow second pair 6-0 6-3

Dear All,
The ladies third team played their first match of the summer
season at the weekend. It was away to Ember ii. After almost four hours on an
incredibly hot day, and on a different 'carpet-like' surface we lost 1-3. It
was incredibly close with our result being only five games behind the
opposition.
The team was Bridget Marrison, Wendy Mudd, Kath Buckley and
Pippa Slough.
The scores were as follows:
Bridget & Wendy lost
to Ember ii first pair 2-6, 6-7 Tiebreak (8-10)
Kath & Pippa won against
Ember ii first pair 4-6 6-3 Match Tiebreak (10-6)
