Reuters breaking news 15th May 2010 approx 4pm - this afternoon Becky Mitchell reportedly broke her first racket string in 9 years of playing tennis at Wilton. Onlookers described the taut moment as shocking and unbelievable. The racket has been given to club stringer Georgi who will frame the strings and add them to the trophy cabinet for others to admire and marvel at. Rumours abound that Court 1 may be renamed The Mitchell Court to mark the historic occasion.
