Table Tennis: Prepare for Wilton A vs Wilton B 7/3/11

I am pleased to confirm that the eagerly anticipated return Wilton A vs Wilton B match in the Wandsworth table tennis league will take place on Monday 7th March. Fans will recall that the match was originally scheduled during the Wilton adult and junior tennis tournament that took place during half term last week and therefore had to be postponed.

On police advice, additional temporary seating will be installed in the clubhouse for spectators with full segregation. Wilton A fans should enter by the entrance by the kitchen while Wilton B fans should enter by the entrance near the office.

Hi Guys,

I've just got the fixtures through for the coming season (listed below). We are in division 1 with only 4 other teams - three from Y Gardens and S Mitcham. If Felix goes back to China this month, then that will be a sad loss. However, I think I would try to play the other three of us (Chris, Richard and me) in all matches and use a reserve from second team if needed.

Hopefully, between the four of us (me, Chris, Felix and Richard) we can manage to field a team for all games without calling on reserves. I'm planning on Chris being available on Fridays and Thursdays and the other three of us being available most of the time with Felix now back in the Wimbledon area.

We should try to practice before the season starts. I'll be in touch after 10 Sept when I get back from my holiday.

Further to this: Wilton A also have a handicap cup match on Tues 16 Sept away to Vale E. We are giving away 8 points in first to 21 point games, best of three.

Hopefully the team can be Richard, Felix and me for this one as I expect that Chris will be unavailable.
