New Men's Team Practice Format And Schedule

With a new season approaching, we have decided to take a fresh look at team practice and to make some substantial changes. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams will practice one week with the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th fourth teams practising the next. In addition the theme for each session will altenate between sessions which consist predominantly of coaching and those which will be organised match play. You may prefer coached or competitive sessions and so should choose to attend accordingly.

Where possible practice sessions will be held on the Monday before the relevant team's match on a Sunday. Dates of the first eight sessions are shown below..Please make every effort to attend fortnightly for your session-it is also very beneficial to arrive by 8pm so as to to allow for organisation. We hope that these changes will provide an opportunity for pairs to practise to together to form effective partnerships, and to have the opportunity for competitve play against players of a similar standard.

The fifth session of each month will either be open to all-including reserves or will be used as a replacement day for any rained-off sessions earlier that month- you will receive email notification the week before.

Please make a note of the following dates which are relevant to your team.

SEPTEMBER:
11th: Mens 1/2/3/4 coached,
18th
: Mens 5/6/7/8 coached,
25th: Mens Open Comp (or wet weather sub).

OCTOBER:
2nd: Mens 1/2/3/4 Comp,
9th: Mens 5/6/7/8 Comp,
16th
Mens 1/2/3/4 Coached,
23rd Mens 5/6/7/8 Coached,
30th
: Mens Open Comp (or wet weather sub).

We hope this new format will meet with approval, and players will understand that changes have become necessary. We will review it after a time and make any appropriate changes, but hope you will give it your support as we believe it is in the best interests of competitive play in the Club.
