Dear Team Player
Following my emails earlier this week I have received several suggestions
on how to revitalise team practice.
So, with apologies for confusing you, here is the new scheme which will
definitely be in place until Christmas! Please make every effort to
support this new initiative!
ALL MONDAYS: 8 pm start
Mens 1, Mens 2, Mens 3, Mens 4, Ladies 1, Ladies 2
These practices will be competition based and open to the first 16 to reply
each week. Please let me know by Saturday whether you are able to play next
Monday (29th Oct)
ALL TUESDAYS: 7.30 pm start
Mens 5, Mens 6, Mens 7, Ladies 3, Ladies 4
These sessions will be coached by Shelley between 7.30 and 9 pm and again
are open to the first 16 to reply. Players may continue playing sets until 10
pm. Please let me know by Sunday whether you are able to play next Tuesday (30th
Oct)
The cost for all sessions is £3 payable on the evening.
The coaching course on Saturdays at 1pm remains as
previously advertised-please let us know if you wish to take part.
Regards
Terry

Dear Team Player
I am conscious that Mens Team Practice has not been very successful
recently. With this in mind we are going to institute a change for a trial
period until Christmas.
After several successful seasons our mens teams have struggled recently. It
seems to me important that teams have a practice session in the week before
their match.
Thus, based on team matches which I already know to have been booked,
Monday sessions are scheduled as follows:
Oct 29: Teams 1, 2, 3, 4
Nov 5: Teams 5,6,7
Nov 12: Teams 3,4,7
Nov 26: Teams 1,2
Dec 3: Teams 5,6,7
Dec 10: Teams 1,2,3,4
Dec 17: Teams 5,6,7
If captains book additional matches (home or away) they are asked to notify
me so that a practice session can be added. Captains are also asked to make
every effort to attend practice sessions for their teams and to try to ensure
that their members do likewise when they are playing the following
weekend.
These sessions will not be coached but players attending are asked to
contribute £2 each towards cost of balls and lights (captains or committee
members please collect if I am not here).
Regards
Terry
