We have decided to change the arrangements for team practices as from this week for a 3 month trial period.

 

All team players are invited to attend on Tuesday evenings starting promptly at 8 pm. These will be sessions organised by Kim or one of the other coaches. The cost is £3. We very much hope that you will attend on a regular basis.

 

Monday evenings are now available for individual bookings and for coaching. Teams who have a match the following weekend will be given priority use of one court provided that the captain has booked a court at least one week in advance.

 

We hope that these arrangements will result in a greater use of the courts.

Our mixed 14 team ( Sasha Philbert, James Evans, Lauren Horsford, Megan Horsford ) defeated Foxhills by 4-0 to gain 3rd place in the finals held on 30th December at the National Tennis Centre at Roehampton. The team were unlucky to have met the eventual winners-a very strong David Lloyd Raynes Park team in the semi finals.

I have, at last, received the results of the Surrey Summer competitions.
