Mens 8th Result 4th Mar 2007

Dear All,

 

The 8th team played away yesterday against New Malden VI.  The team was Roger Tagholm, Nico Van Der Westhuizen, Chris Drew, Marcus Ward.

 

The result was a 2-2 draw with the following scores:

 

Roger & Nico bt NM 2nd Pair 6-1 6-3

Chris & Marcus lost to NM 1st Pair 1-6 3-6

Roger & Nico bt NM 1st Pair 6-2 6-1

Chris & Marcus lost to NM 2nd Pair 4-6 3-6

 

A good result on the astro-turf in the rain, so well played guys. 

Special thanks to Roger for taking us over to New Malden and back.

 

It has been a great undefeated first season for the 8th team. Thanks to

everyone for playing and hopefully we'll have lots more matches soon.
