Result: Mens 2nd vs South Croydon 6/7/08

The Men's 2nd team played their second home fixture of the summer season on
Wimbledon Finals Day, Sunday 6th July.
A day of strong winds and heavy
showers, both the weather and the slippery courts made it difficult for
either team to play their best tennis. South Croydon 1st pair though coped
best with the conditions and deserved their wins against both Wilton pairs
-Damian & Miguel, and Henry & Alex. Miguel and Damian made
a spirited come back from a set down in their other match.Well done to them
and thanks to all four Wilton players. Hopefully our next two fixtures will be
against slightly easier teams -
We have met some very good and determined
teams so far!
