Unfortunately it seems the 6th team were so busy gloating over this that I never received a match report from them and so will put up Chris' report instead, apologies for the late posting of this...

Dear All,

 I sadly have to report a heavy defeat for the 7th Team to open the Winter season.  In imperfect conditions, at a wet Wilton, the 6th Team put us in our place with some very good tennis in a match played in excellent spirits.  Congrats to our Wilton clubmates, and the only way is up (as Yazz said!) for the 7ths for the rest of the season.    

The team was: Roger Tagholm, Marcus Ward, Harry Mowat, Chris Drew.
Roger&Marcus lost to Richard C&David 0-6 1-6

Harry&Chris lost to Russell&Richard E 1-6 0-6
Roger&Marcus lost to Russell&Richard E 1st Pair 5-7 0-6

Harry&Chris lost to Richard C&David 0-6 3-6

Big thanks go to Marcus and Harry for being able to play at short notice.
