Result: Mens 7th win 2008 inter-Wilton battle

Dear All,

The Summer League kicked off with the inter-Wilton blockbuster clash of the 6th and 7th teams and it was the 7th team who took victory and gained revenge for their heavy defeat in the winter meeting of the teams. 

 

Rain halted proceedings after the first two close matches were shared and it was the 7th team who came out strongly after the rain to claim both reverse matches with straight sets wins.  

The 7th team was: Damian McFadden, James Reed, Roger Tagholm, Nico Van Der Westhuizen

 

The 6th team was: Richard Jones, Adrian Berry, Richard Embry, Paul Morgan

Damian&James lost to Richard E&Paul 2-6 6-1 (5-10)  6th WIN 
Roger&Nico beat Richard J&Adrian 6-7(5-7) 6-4 (10-6)  7th WIN 

Damian&James beat Richard J&Adrian 6-1 6-4            7th WIN
Roger&Nico beat Richard E&Paul 6-0 6-3                    7th WIN
