Meet Our Coaches
Amit Mohindra and Ash Balm:
As with any tennis centre we have a team of coaches who do the majoirty of the hours on court (who are mentioned above) and some coaches who do only a couple of hours a week but still contribute to and complement our popular coaching programme at Wilton. Some of the faces you may see on court include: We all hope to see you court sometime soon!! All coaches are available for private lessons. Please enquire through Kim for details and availability. Private Lessons: Programmes: Group and Individual lessons are available for all members. These can be arranged with Kim on a week-by-week or permanent basis. Please enquire for available days and times. For juniors Kim offers a hierarchy of programmes from lessons for the very youngest beginner to the elite junior. There are group lessons for 4 to 8 children, ‘Talent Squads' for those who are taking their tennis a little more seriously and semi and private lessons of ½ and 1 hour duration. Please ask Kim for prices and times. In the Merton summer holidays we run tennis camps, which will incorporate tennis lessons, games, competitions and general sports into the week long programme. You will find the programmes here to be very flexible and we go to great lengths to try and find you an ideal day, time and standard for your child. Regular match days are run against nearby clubs and information on playing tournaments is readily available to anyone who is interested. Singles League FINAL - Congrats to Olly Lester! 11/12/09
The finals of this year's singles league took place on 11th December.
Group A was reasonably straightforward. The final positions were: 1st Olly
Lester 3, 2nd Terry Oakes 2, 3rd Kevin Laws 1, 4th Richard Matthews 0.
Group B was extremely close with several very tight matches. The positions
had to be determined by games won and then head to head. Positions were: 1st
Tomasz Zbikowski 2, 2nd Steve Ingle 2, 3rd Simon Hancock 2, 4th Jean-Marc Michel
(replaced by Chris Drew for final group match) 0.
Play off were then held to determine the final positions. These produced a
final order of
1-Olly Lester, 2-Tomasz Zbikowski, 3-Terry Oakes, 4-Steve Ingle, 5-Simon
Hancock, 6-Kevin Laws, 7-Chris Drew, 8- Richard Matthews.
Congratulation to all but especially Olly on four very convincing victories
at a total loss of three games!
Singles League Group Results 3/12/09
Thank you for competing in the Singles League. A grand total of 108 matches
were played so it can definitely be considered a great success which will
hopefully be repeated next year- probably with LTA ratings points at
stake!
The top 8 players (shown in bold) will compete in the finals on Sat 12th

Wilton Junior Teams
 Wilton is very proud of the success of our junior teams. Thanks to Alex Kamieniecki, Tom Coombe, Kallum and Savannah Challenger we are the current holders of both Surrey Boys and Girls 18 trophies. Our Mixed 14 team was runner up in last year's competition and have high hopes of going one better this year. Our Girls and Boys 16 teams have competed successfully in the 1st Surrey divisions of the National Junior Club Leagues and a new group of promising 14 boys have been very competitive in their division.
