Rules
Players have been divided into 8 groups of similar ability.
Group winners will proceed to the knock out stages which I hope to play off on 17th December.
Each group match is 1 set-first to 10 games with a tie break at 9-all. You are given a specific 2 week period in which to arrange and play your match. Matches not played within the period are liable to be declared void and no points awarded.
It is the responsibility of both players to arrange matches and this should be done by email unless a phone number is quoted. If you have received no reply from your opponent within 48 hrs please contact me at

There is no entry fee but please note that players are expected to provide their own tennis balls- these can be bought from Ben or me at the club.
A large number of matches need to be played so courts will have to be booked. The following time slots are generally available:
Sat: 9am, 10.15am, 11.30 am, 12.45pm, 2pm, 6pm. (no courts available at all on 4th Nov)
Sun: 9am, 1.15pm, 7.30pm
Tues: 7.30pm, 8.45pm
Thurs: 7.30pm, 8.45 pm
Fri: 7.30pm, 8.45 pm
Matches to be played according to the following schedule. Please contact your first opponent NOW!! Email addresses as per copy. An early date within the fortnight is preferable to counter the possibility of bad weather.
30th Sept-15th Oct: 1 v 2, 3 v 4, 5 v 6
16th Oct-29th Oct: 1 v 3, 2 v 5, 4 v 6
30th Oct-12th Nov: 1 v 4, 2 v 6, 3 v 5
13th Nov-26th Nov: 1 v 5, 2 v 4, 3 v 6
