Our mens and ladies teams have now completed 3 of their 5 National Club
League matches. We are competing in the top Surrey division-if successful there
is the prospect of playing in the national divisions next year. So far both
teams have remained unbeaten.
The men scored 4-2 wins against Purley and Wimbledon and defeated Wigmore
5-1. The following have played for us: Peter Schlamberger, Henry Brooks, Ben
Grozier, Alex Kamieniecki, Ted Boyce, Ashley Balm, Kenji Toyoda, Matt Dewar and
Paul West. The next match is at home to Westside 2 on Sunday 24th June at
9.30am.
Our ladies have beaten Westside 2 by 5-1 and Westside 3 by 6-0 and had a
rain-affected 2-2 draw with Byfleet. We have been represented by: Alex McDonald,
Christa Gecheva, Kim Freebairn, Jacinta Gunn, Jackie Crawford, Aya Toyoda and
Rochelle Van der Walt. The next match is also on Sunday 24th June away to Bourne
at 2.30pm.
