Our mens 1st team started their county NCL campaign with a hard-fought 4-2
victory over regular rivals Purley. The Wilton team was Peter Schlamberger, Alex
Kamieniecki, Kenji Toyoda, new member Marian Velik and Ashley Balm.
The following week saw our men travel the short distance up Wimbledon Hill
to take on Westside 2. We were unfortunately without Peter and despite great
efforts from the others who had played the previous week plus Ted Boyce, our
team lost 0-6 to extremely strong opposition.
