Wilton has an active social calendar – from barbeque’s in the summer to our very popular winter quiz, usually run by expert quiz master Terry.
If you have any ideas for new events or would like to help out, please contact our social secretary Olly Schuett using our main email address email@example.com.
In December Maggie To and other members of the club set up a stall to sell cakes and crafts at Wilton during coaching and social hours, in an effort to raise money for ‘Save The Children’. This has been Wilton’s choice of charity for the 2016 & 2017.
They did an amazing job and managed to raise a whopping £1050.
This December saw the debut of our first ever Junior Christmas Party! Thanks to a great Party organised by Social Committee member Maggie To!
We had over 30 members attending with a surprise visit from Santa Claus handing out gifts to all of the children.
The evening was a mix of on court tennis with our main coaches and junior coaches, a disco and indoor games.
Thank you to all of those who came and we hope to run an even bigger event next Christmas.
